Saturdays are always simple, especially when its raining outside. Of course, its been raining off and on for days now, bringing in a wave of fall blahs and such. The little people in RL are bouncing off the walls and keeping me on my toes so todays bloggage is pretty simple too. I could have just slapped up the pictures and credits, but for some reason my fingers get to the keys and I start rambling away. I tried to spare you, honest! Focusing on the look, yes, I can focus. The top here is from the newest release by Fri.Day, perfect for layering with other shirts (as per their promotion for it, no less) so I picked it up in a couple of colors. The skirt was a bundle I purchased from oyakin a while back, I love how simple and light it looks. I am still in love with the fact that flat shoes are 'in' since that's what I wear the most in SL. These are from 50 Flats, with a name like that its really easy to tell where I get a majority of my flats huh? In rare form, I actually took a little bit of time to put on some accessories today! Jewelry pieces are from both Cursed and Mezzo. I stopped by Storin this morning and picked up their umbrella and pose set and splashed my way over to the Creamshop sim to play in the rain. I love the rain, the thunder the way it gives me an excuse to run outside and stomp in a few puddles. I have to be careful here, the street may have just been redone but goodness...those puddles are deep....

I think I have said it about a gabillion times the last few weeks, but I still don't like orange on me that much. Hence the lack of Halloween or Harvest type looks! This, however, works well enough for me. The Moon is a piece you can actually wear form Random Kitten (found in the gatcha machine) and it attaches perfectly. After taking off your old ao it will have you floating around on it all day swinging and kicking your legs, so cute! The top was picked up from Malt and as harvesty colored as I am going to get me thinks. The pants are from the 50L Friday selections from Fishy Strawberry. Shoes by Dilly Dolls, an old time favorite of mine from right about the time the grid went crazy with flats.

As I was getting ready to start this post I noticed I am fast approaching my 100th blog entry for GI (this isn't including older posts, of course, on my first blog). I'm hoping to do something really special for the occasion, but today is just another good ole look of the day for you. Most of us know about Pixel Dolls (previously blogged, so you better know about them!) but some only think they are good for those amazing sales. Not so! I went and picked up this 'Bella' gown today and instantly fell in love with it. Long dresses are more 'me' than the super short ones, and this one is beautiful. The skirt is actually very sheer and the entire look is ultra sexy. You don't have to wear a micro mini to be alluring, I say.

I adore the neck piece, which comes with a couple of color options. Since I am accessory deprived, having a piece like this to include with an outfit just makes my day so much easier. The detailing of lace along the sleeves and bodice is simply amazing and I could sit and stare at this dress for hours! I took myself on over to the PAX sim (if you have yet to visit them, please do so, photo ops abound) and am wearing an older Magika hair to complete the look.

For those wondering how the inventory reduction and cleaning has gone lately, well stop it. Just stop all the pressure! I can't take it! Well, mainly because my inventory has gone up to almost 43k since I started the entire process. I haven't even unpacked much, that is all because certain stores are having these certain sales and I am a sucker for 50L goodness! I need help, I admit it, I cant stop the inventory expansion. Even better is I took over 400 images and tossed them into an organizer, and its still up that high. I swear, I don't recall shopping that much, probably because my linden balance barely took a hit at said sales. So, designers with your fancy smancy sales, I blame you. Yes, its all your fault. Don't you dare stop!

Off for a day of RL cleaning and such, my inventory count here is going up as well and I swear I don't RL shop like I SL shop. Heaven help my poor house if I did. After five long days without Sands I was so excited and lucky to get three full days of him home, so my cleaning got a wee bit neglected. See how I did that? Blamed him for that too, nothing is my fault I swear. Ok, its all my fault, but I have excuses...or I can make something up in a heart beat! Its amazing how fast three days can go though, when you are spending them with someone you love. So, here is me trying to make up for a lack of bloggage the last couple of days, as well as the rambling! Didja get your fill?

I was able to sneak some time in world tonight and visit a new shop that I saw from a posting on plurk. .hc&co. is an absolutely adorable little shop that is bursting at the seams with potential. I was lucky enough to run into the owner and got to stand and talk to her while I did a bit of shopping. If you ever really wonder if posting your creations on plurk pays off, I am here as living proof that yes indeed it does!

My initial reasoning for dropping by was the breast cancer awareness top (seen below) that Heather had plurked about. I hope that more people saw it and take a few minutes to get it, if nothing else. Even better would be if you just took a few minutes to wander around this delightful shop and picked up a few more things. Trust me, your essentials can all be found here and they are wonderful additions to your wardrobe. A couple of my favorite pieces are the shoes you see. I am the biggest sucker for flat shoes and these are so darn cute! I got them in both green and pink. The green pair are shown with a pair of ripped jeans and a green sweater that comes with a sweet little scarft. (See above, obviously)

The pink shoes are shown here with the same jeans, unripped, and the breast cancer shirt that is set out for free right now. Also seen with this outfit is a very well done set of bangles on my wrist, everything findable in the same shop. This is another one of those stores that has good quality and very afordable prices! I spent my last couple hundred lindens here getting these pieces to share with you guys tonight. Mainly in the hopes of seeing more people visit .hc&co.! There is also a section with skins inside and to the right, be sure to try them! I will be doing skin reviews soon and may sneak back for a demo or two.

Last here is the prize that will be handed out during the Dubloon Hunt which starts on October 1st and runs through the 22. This is a gridwide hunt for pirate-themed prizes so you really dont want to miss out. Shown, of course, is the gift for women but there is also a male gift included here for you guys that are being dragged around on grid wide hunts this month. You know you love getting gifts as much as we girls do, its ok to admit it! The dress (which you guys could also wear, we won't judge you, honest) comes with an top, glitch pants and skirt as well as the fantastic belt. Best of all, its pink! I've such a fondness for pink....couldn't you tell?

I wasn't actually paying as much attention to the poses I used tonight as I normally do, but I am pretty darn sure these are all poses by Tuli. One of the poses came with the picnic table, but the rest can be found at Tuli's shop. Be sure to sneak by and get them too.

I am off to bed at an insanely early hour tonight. Partly because its just been a long day. Partly because I haven't anything left that I want to do online tonight. Last, and certainly not least, partly because I don't like being online without my persons and its a really quiet night. I'm missing Sands far too much so sleep...yes, sleep is a good idea.

For tomorrow: I will have an awesome skin review by the designer of [42]! I just got all of her items from the skin fair and will be taking a few really detailed pictures to share with you all. For some reason, today, my pictures look really different in edit mode than they do when I upload them. I wish I had enough time to completely redo them, but I have far to much to do today than play with pictures all afternoon. Oh, how I wish I could though! Today is, officially, this avs 2nd rez-day! I got to spend the morning hanging out with my best friend (Love ya tons Kerra) and am looking forward to an evening with Sands of course. Neither of which will make fun of my off shaded body parts from these pictures.... ok, maybe. Lets just pretend I had pants on all summer and my feet got tanner... just, just go with it people!

These shots were taken using the poses that come with the garden area you see, as well as one from LAP (above). This is the new garden and land that I have in SL, and I honestly could only be happier if I had more prim's to play with. I finally have the gardens I have wanted, without unwanted trash right behind my land. Without the worry of people just dropping in, except for the few people I want to drop in, and without a club or store right next door! The land I am renting is beautiful and the neighbors have been fantastic so far. This is what SL living should be and I will be including more shots of the area soon.

Later I will get the outfit credits for Kerra, but for me I am wearing feet by SLink (they just dont look right in these images, but I swear they blended perfectly in game and in my editing program...no idea what is up today) and another outfit by MIEL. Yes, its a MIEL week I guess. I just love this little outfit, perfect for the gardener in me. I have to keep spring with me somehow as we approach Autumn and Winter. So glad we are finally out of Summer! I am happily dragging out pants and sweaters and as I organized in SL I am finding so many that I will be blogging in the future.

Tonight, I raid in EQ2, may slip in for a game of Greedy in SL, and have an over all fantastic evening. The plans are laid out, but even the best set plans for Sands and I get turned over once we log in. He has been extremely sweet the last few weeks, I suppose it just shows how being happy can affect someone, so we have been having a blast again. Its nice to put aside things that don't need our energy or focus, and just move on day to day being happy. I have had some amazing conversations with new and old friends about the recent shenanigans and am extremely comforted by the fact that they see things very similar to how I saw them. I'm not so crazy after all! Well, unless you are looking at my inventory... still a little crazy over that. Hey, I am working on it! Honest! Actually...it is my 2nd rezday on Dina...I think that should excuse me from that no shopping deal, don't you?

A serious quicky today, I logged in to sit and go through some of the inventory I have been fussing about for months. SL, however, had different ideas. I got through a handful of things and hey, if I do a little bit every day sooner or later it will be done, right? If I can stop shopping long enough, and since I am low on L's that shouldn't be a problem at all! My focus is on RL right now though, honestly. The joys and pain of having pets has reared its ugly head. While are cats are purely inside pets, the dogs are always outside. A few weeks ago when one of those horse...er, I mean dogs, they are huge...got into the house I knew, I just knew it would be trouble for me down the road. Now, it is.

I know what you are gonna say, good grief, not these people again. I admit I have been obsessing over the same few people time and time again on my blog lately but I can't help myself, I am in love with them and I suppose this is my outlet for the amazing things in my life right now. Sure, I will get back to venting and being miserable when something happens, be ready for it you drama whores! (I'm jesting, by the way, I don't think you are all drama whores, just that one there, and maybe that one over there...and, ok you get the idea!) For now, you are stuck with sickeningly sweet and happy posts. Hence the title of this post, it's sick to be this happy, I know. Get used to it, with particular people in mind because honestly this is where my energies are spent. Nope, not going to turn into some psychobabble about what other people should or shouldn't do, just going to live and let live. Its amazingly freeing to do so, and I am very thankful for the people that remain in my life and are here to share it with me. That's SL, EQL and RL! I think its unhealthy to smile this much, my cheeks kinda hurt lately. Its nice to hurt from something like that, dontcha think?

Anyway, today I was SO amazingly lucky to get to spend some time off n on with Kerra. We did a wee bit of shopping (ok it was only a wee bit because we are broke, we need SLjobs so we can stop being SLobs...shush, it made me giggle) and I asked her if she would mind being part of my blog post today. Yep, she went kicking and screaming into the studio and skybox with me, can you tell how upset she is? Was even devastated when I dragged her to the beach for some pictures too! Poor Kerra. Someone should save her...save her now I say!


The very top picture is outfits we each came up with purely from Mischief. Somehow I started neglecting my store updates as they came through and completely missed Mischief's latest releases! Unacceptable!! I have always loved outfits that come together, really makes it easy but Mischief always puts out the best seperates and I could easily live daily on just her clothing. She is awesome, expect to see more of her. Just, cuz I can.


After that I saw a notice from LAQ about new clothing there. Now, I have not once gone into their clothing section before. Why is that? How did I get stuck on just hair (which I never wear, its so not me, doesn't work on my head shape) and skin (which I also don't wear, but I do adore their skins, wish they would work on my features as well...maybe some tweaking...wait, don't let me buy more skins! Nooooo...) but their clothing I will wear! Some of this stuff is beautiful and as soon as I get my SLob self out there to make more SLindens, wait that one doesnt work so well does it...whatever.... I will be returning for at least three more things. Just three, because I made myself stop looking! We picked up their newest swimwear and lingerie and came up with the remaining pictures. I had another lingerie picture in mind but somehow didn't hit 'snapshot' because I got distracted but will be including it later, so look for it! I think Kerra looks hawt, darn tall thin blonde makes me look like a lil tub o'dark hair here! Actually, naw, I think we both look good, so much so I will be doing more pictures soon. I really enjoy editing and playing with them, so I suppose you will be doomed to see more of us and our shining faces!


I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! My RL one is coming to an end, still a bit of it tomorrow of course. My 2nd weekend with Sands starts tomorrow as well! I'm extremely excited about a bit of extra time with him and then his 2 normal days off that he takes during the week simply because it fits our schedules best. He knows I can't be on as much during the day on the real weekends, so he actually reworked his own days off so it wasn't interfering with any of my RL priorities. It really is nice to know that I am one of his priorities, enough that he is willing to do that so we can have time together. At some point tonight our alts are going to hit the level we want and he is going to actually do some shopping for my dirge, get her a bit of gear and weapon, at least until our shard work is done. All of this is greek to most of you, I know, it just happens to be one of the many things we have going on right now. I am determined to have even better pictures for this week, so if you see me dragging Kerra, or Sands around, kicking and screaming (like I said before) its all for my blog addiction. Try and toss them a sympathetic glance, aw what they do for me *hugs em and loves them to pieces*

I love this woman, I don't think I talk about her enough, but this here crazy blond by my side is Kerra. Yep, that's her, infamous now aren't ya! I've known Kerra for almost 8 years, met her online and our friendship has remained strong and true through men, kids, and online insane fun! We logged in today to find some trouble and ended up on the phone laughing until the tears streamed down our faces with this amazing new studio. Well, new to me! Oh, I didn't even realizde it at the time but I did in fact take these pictures in a demo skin. Oops, SL ate it and I cant remember what its called but I will be popping over to Belleza to get it at some point tonight. See, when you really like a skin you even forget you have the demo on hahaha.

This studio is by Scribble and I think its the best handful of lindens I have ever spent! Included is a large variety of frames, backgrounds, poses and its so adjustable and simple even the newest photo booth addict can use it. Even better (see below) you can well, scribble on it!!! Of course, be sure to be careful when you go afk to take a phone call. Sands, these pictures are indeed your fault! The laughter that ensued after is all Kerra's fault. Gawd love the poor people at plurk that always grab popcorn when she and I are talking and plurking away. People like this make SL a true escape, the fantasy world that we have all come to embrace and pour ourselves into. She is true to what you see is what you get, always honest and absolutely hysterical. Again, I love her, she is closer than family and 'gets' me in every single way. I hope everyone has a friend or two like this, and that you have had a fabulous weekend with them and those you love. It's been a long time since I have woken up with a renewed hope for the day, I certainly did this morning. Things have been so amazing lately and last night I did a bit of soul searching and cleansing. The last week or so alone has deepened my love for EQ2 with Sands, running our own guild together finally, touring the castle he promises we will have (lemme say, wow) and building something together that each of us never thought we would have again. From his amazing leadership skills, the astounding amount of Oda Clan members that remember him and are flocking back to their home in the guild, and the way he loves me daily... today is filled with more hope than I could have imagined. No, I haven't been drinking, yet! I'm just so extremely relaxed, happy, and excited for what each day brings that no one, and I mean no one, can bring me down.

So, when I saw these pieces from Naive, I thought wow, perfect! I love Naive, seriously, I want to establish a paypal contract with them and have them just send me their new releases. My inventory may be bursting at the seams, but this stuff is my favorites, by far.

I still spend a little bit of time each day wandering through the fashion feeds, even on days I don't get to log into SL at all. I chanced upon a blog post about ::EmJay:: and actually logged in to go do some shopping! I was lucky enough to land with the designer on site, I always love getting to talk to designers. The design line is relatively new to SL, and she has fast been added to my favorite designer list!

The dresses and tunics also have a fabulous variety of patterns and colors, I always have such a hard time picking out one thing that of course the fat packs quickly found their way into my inventory. I officially lay the blame on ::EmJay:: for pushing my inventory over the 40k amount! Someone should get to cleaning that out *looks around*

At the moment ::EmJay:: only has the one small location, but I have no doubt at all that the designer will be expanding or moving to a larger shop soon. She is working on a selection of mens and womens T's, I got a little sneak peek and they are fantastic!! Will be sharing those as soon as I have them in my hot little ::EmJay:: folder, that's for sure. The separates are great for mixing and matching, the below shorts are some of my favorite!

I also snagged a few eyes, but didn't get a chance to take any pictures with them yet. The images here is just a handful of the things I purchased, every single clothing piece is from ::EmJay:: of course, so be sure to take some time to visit and shop until your inventory hits 40k too! What, I can't be the only one that shops so much that she has to go buy more because she can't find anything, right? Er...right?!

I know, I know I keep saying that I will just be coming in as often as I can and tossing up a fashion related post, LOTD, etc. However, this is a blog dang it! Blogs need text, they need stories and ramblings to keep people reading. They need a bit of spice, and life and...ok I have no idea what they really need but this is my blog and I figure I can fill it with whatever ramblings and nonsense I want! Oh, oh the power of text!

It's been a pretty busy week her so far, and its only Tuesday! I'm really looking forward to a fabulous late afternoon/evening today in eq2, but this morning I took a little bit of time and snuck into Second Life for some shopping and found Coquette on the feeds. Throughout this entire entry all of the clothing, shoes and jewelry are from Coquette, a fabulous little shop that has already filled a couple of folders in my inventory. Once I organize it that is...yea, never going to happen! I like my mess, apparently. Just as I start to get organized a shopping need washes over me and off I go! Coquette is a perfect place to satisfy that need and the last image here was a gift for their group not overly long ago, be sure to join it when you stop by.

I always love walking into a store and walking out with complete outfits, it makes my inventory just that much happier. With these outfits I included hairs from ETD, Truth and Magika, used poses from Striking Pose and Vain and one other (below) that I cannot for the life of me seem to find again. If anyone recognizes it, feel free to toss the information into a comment and I will modify the blog entry. So see, not overly painful with the rambling today, and it was almost all SL related! Imagine that...but don't expect that to be the case come, oh I dunno, tonight. Or tomorrow...or... the next day. Many of us have heard someone utter the words, 'It's only a game...' Some might believe that, but then there are others that take virtual worlds a bit deeper. I don't only play Second Life, I also play EverQuest II with Sands and have met some of the most amazing people there. It may be a game that we play, but the people we meet and the friendships we form are very much real to me, as they are to countless others.

I sat on the phone with Sands tonight, during his dinner break, rambling per usual while he ate. I got an incoming call right as we were hanging up to find one of our friends from EQII on the phone, near tears. She had been trying to get ahold of me to make sure she could talk to me before I logged into game. The minute someone says that, you worry. With good reason, this time, as she explains quietly that one of our dear friends and guild leaders passed away a couple of weeks ago. There is much more to this story, but I don't feel this is the place to draw it out, but needless to say it got me to thinking about these 'games' and the people that play them.

After talking for about 30 minutes I told her I needed to go and call Sands so he could find out from me before logging in, and within 30 seconds, he was calling me again, out of the blue. Just a game? No, we form connections with people, online or off, and I am always amazed by them. The people I have met within both games, and that I let myself get close to and love, are just as important as face to face friends. You are able to open yourself up in ways you might not in F2F (that's face to face, RL and SL mingle too much for it not to be real). You can form even deeper bonds because you have so much more time talking, and letting yourself be you. Not everyone agrees, and that's ok, I am just sharing my opinion and view on the entire matter.

It made me realize there are a lot of people I would be devastated to lose. Those that I haven't come to and told them exactly how I feel about them, or how much I appreciate them. Luckily I have the chance to do so now, even though I never will with this other friend again. Its going to be a tough night, he will be missed so much... sending much love and hugs to those closest to me, and each of those affected by his passing. I don't need to name you, you know who you are and after tonight you know you mean the world to me. I wish you all a beautiful evening surrounded with those you care for. Make sure they know it....

One of the best things to see come across my time line on plurk are new creations from my favorite stores. Naive is, without a doubt, one I watch for! Each release brings out pieces that are an awesome addition to every inventory, even the over cluttered like mine. My favorite piece this time is the 'Awesome' shirt! Yes, the word of the day here at GI is 'Awesome'!

The last photo here was just a bit of creative expression on my part tonight. I haven't been spending as much time wandering the grid just snapping pictures as I once did, mainly because I have so much else gong on, online and off. This was just a stolen moment of escape. Escape from all the people that are pulling at me, not intentionally of course. These are people I want to be there for, and help as much as I can, I once in a while just need the small escape to collect myself else end up no help to anyone. So many have things going on in their live(s) that I wish I could fix, but the best I can do right now is simply to be there for them. I have strong shoulders, but even strong women need someone to lean on once in a while. I don't think I would get through my days nearly as well as I do if not for Sands and his amazing support. I have a feeling we are going to end up needing new cell phones soon, for how much time we spend talking! The best part of my day is just getting to talk until we fall asleep, and I don't think I tell him or my other very dear friends just how much I love them for all they are, and all they do for me. To him directly, I love you, and am amazed by every day we spend together. So, I took my moments of escape, and look forward to another fabulous week with you all!
