The pictures above and below here are some of my favorite so far this month. Oh wait, this is my first blog post this month, well who cares they are still my favorite! Look. At. Them. Oh sweet primmy sky home but I couldn't help but fall in love with it when I got the release notice from Leezu! I love absolutely everything about it. Everything seen here is from Leezu! except for the Dutchie bed. New home location is a-go!

What better way is there to break in a new home than with a pretty picture of the new release by Celoe? To be perfectly honest, I have no clue how long the dress has been out but I fell in love with it as I walked past to go get the new shoes. Oh. Shoes! If I could of I would of gotten every color, but I am so happy in these shoes that I have yet to take them off. The dress also meets every one of my prissy, girly, flowy summer dress mood right now.

Now here is something I haven't done in ages. I'm taking myself back to where I used to be, at the end of every blog entry I would ramble a little bit about, well, me. Its my blog. I purchase almost everything I blog. Why shouldn't I? Don't like a bit of RL mixed with your SL? Stop reading now!!

Things are going decently well! Tons of room for improvement, which I am working on daily, to get on track to where I need to be, but well all the same. The kids are all off for summer and the older ones are going to Virginia for a couple of weeks, starting this weekend. I am going to miss them like crazy but they will have so much fun with my in laws!

On the SL/online front. Well, I'm getting there! I know what it is I want, finally, and I know that I cannot keep expecting others to make sure it happens. It either will be, or won't, and I have finally accepted it for what it is. Working nonstop, trying to finish up the sim finally, and enjoying some raiding in Everquest 2 as I have been the last 3 years. I'm letting go of some guilt that has been eating at me for weeks and just going to refocus on being the best person I can be. Those that love me, and have been there through my struggles I adore you for it! I'm pushing past my issues and doing the best I can do and hope its good enough.

I hope everyone is having a great week! Hopefully I will stop being a lazy SLer and blog more often, I do miss the rambling! You pour souls....

The whispers and rumors around plurk today is that its a no panties day. Well, that was easy enough! Thought this top that I snuck over and got at the Leverocci sale was perfect for wandering around my new home panty-less! After neglecting their updates for a while, I picked up a few of the latest Truth hairs and this one fit well with what I was aiming for here. Wearing one of my absolute favorite skins, by Izzies, I snuck over to one of my happiest places on my sim, standing and staring out the window at the beautiful trees by HappyMood. They easily put me in a happy mood and are being spread all over my sim. The Mannequin and photo work on the wall are by What Next. I will be featuring more corners of my new home as soon as I get them done!

I could sit and ramble on and on like I used to, but shoot, who has time for that anymore! I hope that everyone had a fabulous week. I really did, honestly, even surviving the nasty humid heat. This weekend is going to be amazing! Why? Well. I'm finally riding solo! *smiles her sweetest smile and slips off to start her weekend a bit early*

I don't often put myself on a beach for a picture, it's not one of my favorite places in RL, so not really an option for me most of the time. However this dress, the first time I put it on all I could do was imagine holding the skirt up to my thighs and wading around on a calm beach, slipping in and out of the shadows of the palms nearby. Tonight, I allowed myself to indulge.

I think perhaps my eyes appear too large in this last shot. Hmm, something to adjust, and this week is full of adjustments. So much done already, and its only Monday. I hope you each had a wonderful start to your week, it is sure to bring amazing things.

One of the hardest parts about working in SL, even as support, is that it is a 7 day a week job. There is no weekend, or TGIF, especially since Sundays and Tuesdays are so terribly tough for residents. Last week, however, I spoke to my manager and got a full week of vacation to do some work on me, and my own, for a change of pace.

I didn't do the normal stuff of SL, like some might of thought I would. I actually stayed away from SL. Even (mostly) away from plurk. At some point I realized that were it not for my job, and a very small handful of people that I care for, I don't think I would of come back at all. This makes me think I have been focusing on SL all wrong, that I have still taken *me* out of the equation and spend all of my time focusing on what other people want. I then looked just -two posts before this one- and saw myself saying the same exact thing! That I needed to focus on me...and then, I didn't even bother to do it!

So, I took the week off. I mean, off. I got a lot of extra sleep, did a lot more cleaning than my family is used to, and reconnected with a few people that aren't on the pc at all. It was nice, but the week is over. Last night I snuck in some time to work on my sim, finding myself with 2k more in prims than I had a few days before. Its not nearly done, but above is a picture of one of my favorite spots so far. The What Next bikes and furniture are so perfect for spring, once it decides to get here and stick around for a while. The mesh shirt and shorts were my vacation wear, I suppose tomorrow its back to the grind....can I leave the shorts on?

This entire post is Kismet's fault. Just quietly playing greedy, and bam, a link to a picture of this dress. We both oo and aah and figure out when its coming out, then I get to be the lucky one to snag the pics and blog it. I absolutely love it. Its a bit unusual that the belt doesn't come with the dress, its a separate purchase, and pretty much essential to the look of the dress. However, I adore it so much I didn't even blink when I bought it.

Thanks to my wench for coming over and standing all over my furniture for pics! Muwah!

A little happier with the computer today, this picture didn't turn out all that bad at all. This is the dock over at the parcel of land that holds my meeroo's, yes yes I said meeroo's! Don't judge me, they are adorable. Anyway, was cleaning out my main folder and stumbled across this dress and jewelry by Izzie's and had forgotten buying it! I love it, pink and I get alone really well, and this dress is absolutely me. Its a nice day out here, as everyone on the East Coast is preparing for Irene to come and stop by. A picture off the docks as the storm rolls in seemed fitting.

I've been missing blogging so much lately, but when I go and attempt to take pictures they come out like this. Oh, le sigh. My graphic card is a little old, so this week I am going to be pricing to see what I can do to upgrade. Not only that, this entire PC needs an overhaul, but I loved this look so much I wanted to try and get a couple of shots done. Big fat fail, with jagged edges, but I still love the look! Its a bit sweet, soft, innocent, oh yea, its completely me. Stop...laughing!

I had someone a bit confused the other day, asking if I was a fashion blogger 'or what'....well, no. Not really. I don't even fake an attempt at being like so many of the bloggers that designers send their items to, you don't have to send me your items. I don't ask for them, I blog what I buy almost 95% of the time except for 2 designers who have tossed me items. I do also blog gifts from groups, designers have been coming up with some awesome pieces to gift their customers, but bottom line I blog what I love. Even if I do take blurry, or overly jagged pictures, I blog and do all of this for me and for fun.

Now, someone get my computer on board so I can enjoy this again. Right now all I feel is blah about my pics. Maybe its time to get into that 3.0 and see how that goes. This should be .... interesting!

Yep, looking for spring, for spring cleaning, the bring colors and flowers, and changes. I neglected to blog again, for ages, but I won't come in with a lot of promises about 'I will do better' or some such thing, I will blog when I find the time and inspiration hits me. Do I want to blog more? Oh gawsh yes, I just need to make the time again! I miss it, of course.

However, things need to change in here! My inventory is pushing 60k, while this is low by some standards, I know designers and well known bloggers have an insane inventory count, for me its too high. It means, I shop to darn much!! Being more selective might be a good start, but that wasn't at all where I was starting when I hit up AOHARU and pick this up. I <3 it, and had to start blogging again just to find a reason to wear and share it. Paired with my favorite (even though they aren't anywhere near new) sandals by Shiny Things, its exactly how I wanted to laze my day around in the garden.

Something is just bugging me here though. While I love everything else, I am not at all pleased with how my face looks. Make over, incoming! Will have to play with it depending on what skin I toss on that day too. I have this forever love for LAQ, but I need to broaden my skin folder to other stores. Illusory captured my focus for a bit, and I still have and love those skins. There are a few more I want to go and try, use, enjoy. I've decided change is just good.

Oh yea, and look, I am back here on Grand Illusion instead of SC now. Hmm, wonder what happened there? Well, I like it here better. Grand Illusion has always been my place to mix in a little bit of RL with my SL, to ramble if I want, put up pics and not say a word, or type for days. Most of my time has been spent working, working, working. At this point my job in SL has become a full time job. While some may think thats silly for how much I am getting out of it (my sim, cash, spending money, all in all it really is a lot by SL standards, RL time and standards maybe not, but this works for me and my family) its helping me get by month to month while I work on even more outstanding changes.

Overall, life is really darn good right now. Surprisingly, even with all the knocks and set backs, all of them turn out to be amazing and good in the end. Isn't it funny how it works out like that? So for now, I am taking the changes, and looking forward to spring.

I've never really been fully sold on this 'blond' deal. Its stepping far out of my norm, which was always pale with dark hair, much like I am in real life. When I made the switch to blond I wanted some sort of drastic change, at the same time in real life having just cut my hair off to donate. What better way than to go from raven hair to blond? Hmmm. Will be playing with it a bit longer and will see if my Ls can handle the switch back after filling up on blond hairs.

The look, I love. Miel makes me happy, the top and scarf being theirs. Scarf removed for the 2nd picture, I'm so darn wishy washy I couldn't decide if I liked it on or not! The belt and shoes are Pixel Mode, I've gone a bit boot crazy lately. Jeans, if you've ever read anything else I've ever posted you could guess, drawmachine. Too typical of me, but I almost forgot how to do this 'blogging' stuff! Thoughts for the new year are a completely new look, and more frequent postings. When I say a new look, thats all blog and av. 'Dina' is getting a bit stale, boring, same ole same ole and I need new, exciting, crazy. Hmmm, perhaps!

On a completely different topic, from the av to the game that is, I actually logged in for the first time on a new viewer. Imagine that! However, this is going to take a lot of getting used to. Nothing is where it should be and this took me way longer than usual! I do rather like it, but don't quote me on that.

When the designer of Mischief had her sale a couple of months ago, with the announcement that she would be moving on to something new, I cant help but admit a small sadness at the end of Mischief. Even though its been moved on somewhere else, without Janie its just not the same Mischief I spent the last few years in SL filling my inventory with. I recently found her new store, JANE, and started a new folder to fill with her designs! I've spent time landscaping my new sim and thought it would be best to spend fall with JANE!

A lot of the time change comes in unexpectedly, and is often unwelcome. Then again, there are times when a drastic change is exactly what you need. I needed this one, and I actually love it. Shopped, of course, until I dropped at the Armidi sale, picked up a new LAQ skin and went as blond as they come. Somehow it changes how I feel when I log in my AV. Oh I will still use my raven or red hairs, but this new, light, carefree me is far over due.

I got into this nasty habit when I log into SL, I go and check on bunnies (don't judge me!) and then I log out and into my working av. Thats it. Thats what I've been doing. I have things to blogged just filling a folder, an inventory that has been neglected and an av that would really like to change her clothing. However, this is what I've been living in. I love this dress, by Mischief, lets me be sassy the little bit of time I get to be on as me!

Something else I mentioned on my plurk page, location location location! I got really lazy for a while and stayed in my studio for all of my pics. I like to explore, so I will try and get some time in for that too. This was taken at the Pixel Mode sim. Its awesome, go visit.

I woke up this morning with a little bit of dread as I headed in to see my Dr. Lately it hasn't always had me walking out in the best of moods. Today, while there was some bad news, the good far outweighed the bad and there has been progress. With progress I always seem to find a bit of renewed energy! I got a lot done today! From bunnies being organized, my EQ2 work caught up on (mostly lol) and the best part? Sands is at work in an extremely good mood. Hey, I get this unnatural high from making someone I love happy, what can I say? So I slipped into SL and found this amazing dress by LeeZu, along with a couple other pieces there that I need to take pictures in because they are oh so amazing. I was extremely excited to not have as many issues with the prims on this top as I usually do. This is big for me, my shape is apparently freakish enough that the scuplt prim hates my av, so I fell in love with the dress even more. It was spared from the 'Mod your shape so you can wear this' folder. Now, normally, I absolutely hate the ankle boot. Hate it. It has issues, it cant figure out if its a boot, a pump, a cross breed? It makes me wince, I cant wear them in RL and own very very few in SL, but...le sigh...it just seemed to be the best shoe for the outfit, by Juicy. Look at it. Mocking me. Shut up shoe, I can delete you!

Fashion aside, I loved that I once again have my own locations to take pictures. Those shown today are at the, now complete, location that Sands and I are now calling home. The building is amazing, and I will do pictures of that build here soon, and its definitely a place I could see us entertaining in. What good is a home if you don't have people over? I had to laugh, when he logged in to see the final work that I had done, when he said 'Tell me you don't want one of those security orbs that I won't be able to get in with.' Seriously? What kind of crazy person has a home, or any other location, that their partner cant get into? Eep, never mind, I don't want to know, its too sad to even imagine. I'm not only am thrilled to share the space with him, I expect him to enjoy it just as much as I will! I can't wait to finish sharing the little corners and decor here, its all perfect. Just like the picture below. The table and chairs are fantastic, and from MudHoney. The food, flowers, and credenza in the back left are all from Plush Pod, while the tray back there was a Christmas gift from NotSoBad last year. A mixture from most of my favorite furniture designers and I love how it looks. Anyone coming over for dinner?

On to a bit more rambling, nothing at all to do with the furniture or fashion of SL, just my fingers letting lose on the keys. Things have been so good the last few days, still, and are a major part of why I am feeling a lot better and able to just maintain more than I had in the past. There is often RL stress, but it always works out, in the end. Sands and I are really enjoying the progression of our EQ2 guild, becoming bigger and better every week. I've been so proud of him, and how he has handled things and people lately, he really has impressed me more than I ever thought possible. Past that? He is also still supporting me through some of the toughest times in my life. Right now I can promise you he will be sitting at work, reading this, and smiling at his phone, his employees probably thinking he is still out of his mind for it, but thankful for the amazing mood he is in today. We've got it all going for us right now babe, and I'm still here fighting even harder because of you.

I think it was near or around a year ago that I first blogged anything by Sway's. Was just a little bear she had handed out as a group gift, and I knew I had to find some way to get the lil guy included. Today, however, I didn't go looking for bears. I've been seeing her new animations as she shares them on her blog and went to buy a couple. Instead, I got them all. Yes, all. I'm that all or nothing kinda woman, and its worth it. Just a couple of them, wearing a set by Whippet & Buck.

A year ago I didn't even need the folder that this jacket has been organized into. I had a lacking of jackets, sweaters and coats, but I love that Pink Outfitters just released this awesome little Military Jacket. We all know by now that I am prim adjustment deprived half the time, so I was even more in love with this piece because all it took was a bit of stretching, and it was perfect. Perfect I say! First entry with the new Belleza skin, and after having decided to go red headed instead of my traditional raven hair. I almost went blond, but this adds just that much more sass. Because, I needed more. I did! Just ask my...ok never mind.

SySy's will be releasing this amazing dress soon, and I was thrilled to be on when the sneak peek showed up and it begged to be blogged. This is exactly the look I've needed the last week with the warmer weather that showed up, a full week after snowing! Go figure, living up north is an adventure to be sure. Paired up with these amazing little sandals by Shiny Things and wild fun earrings by Ticky Tacky, I'm ready to go linger in my coming to life garden. Someone bring me some ice water?
