I was thrilled to run into one of the designers of LeBloom last week and got to hear about their grand opening before it happened. Unfortunately I missed that event (doggonit) but am lucky to be able to blog a few of their new pieces here. First and foremost, let me readmit for the millionth time, I am always forgetting about accessories. I don't know why, I've given up trying to be perfect and have all the extra touches, I guess I just like being able to focus on a few things I have on instead of covering it and overdoing it to the point of 'holy moly is there an av under all those prims'. I may be taking it to the opposite extreme of no accessories, though. Still working on that! So when I saw these poses by Frooti I knew it needed a bag, and look at that! Its been so long since I even dealt with my bags that the first thing I landed up and worked was from ETD. ETD! Did I mention I missed Elika while she was gone? Oh, have we noticed the hair...thats right, ahhh its good stuff.

The outfit is, of course, all LeBloom. White tank under a blue jacket with an awesome pair of jeans. The jacket has prims for the bottom, which I normally cringe about but these are very well made, even with my ao (that is a huge shock, I must have the most sculpty unfriendly ao ever) and I love it!

This picture, well, I don't have a clue whats going on with my shoulders above here, they arent massively wide I swear. Can I blame my graphics card? No, thats for the jagged lines that people like to make comments about. Can I blame the pose? Hm, I love the poses by Frooti! Lets just blame SL...but the tank is adorable! Since going blonde I am much more willing to put on green, and I think this looks great! Last, below, is my favorite top that I have from LeBloom, so far. I love the color and the design both, and again am so glad to see a new team coming out and designing for us this summer. Add them to my list of 'will most likely blog about often' and I cant wait to see what they bring us!!

I may be a couple of days behind everyone else showing how I love the new Belleza skin coming out, but like many I will be adding it to my folder of skins as soon as its out. Without having to change a thing in my shape to love how it looks is always a perk for me, so I am off to sit on their steps and wait, patiently.

As per normal GI style, my own rambling time...life is good, amazingly good right now. Spring is slowly getting here in RL and we are doing that ever so fun spring cleaning. Doing the same thing with my inventory in SL, still!! Keeping it under 60k at least, thats a step! So much more to be gone through and gotten rid of. Am I really going to wear all of this ever again? Being realistic about this sort of thing is tough for a born pack rat.

Have had a lot of time to go in and play lately since EQ2 has been down. Fighting the 'bored out of my mind' moments when I would usually be off raiding has been tough, but we have always found something wickedly fun to do. It's been a while since I've done a 50L Friday bit of shopping. Awesome dress by So Many Styles, shoes by Kookie (three colors available too!) and the Lawn Dart game by Scribble is fantastic! I may need to work on my aim, though.....

To offset the complete seriousness on my GI blog, I thought why not start now with the daily SC posts again! I've been wearing this for a couple of days in SL, what a horrible trend that became for me! Standing around in the same outfit for more than a day? The shame!! The humiliation! The....adorable outfit though, right? I love it.

I got into this nasty habit when I log into SL, I go and check on bunnies (don't judge me!) and then I log out and into my working av. Thats it. Thats what I've been doing. I have things to blogged just filling a folder, an inventory that has been neglected and an av that would really like to change her clothing. However, this is what I've been living in. I love this dress, by Mischief, lets me be sassy the little bit of time I get to be on as me!

Something else I mentioned on my plurk page, location location location! I got really lazy for a while and stayed in my studio for all of my pics. I like to explore, so I will try and get some time in for that too. This was taken at the Pixel Mode sim. Its awesome, go visit.

I woke up this morning with a little bit of dread as I headed in to see my Dr. Lately it hasn't always had me walking out in the best of moods. Today, while there was some bad news, the good far outweighed the bad and there has been progress. With progress I always seem to find a bit of renewed energy! I got a lot done today! From bunnies being organized, my EQ2 work caught up on (mostly lol) and the best part? Sands is at work in an extremely good mood. Hey, I get this unnatural high from making someone I love happy, what can I say? So I slipped into SL and found this amazing dress by LeeZu, along with a couple other pieces there that I need to take pictures in because they are oh so amazing. I was extremely excited to not have as many issues with the prims on this top as I usually do. This is big for me, my shape is apparently freakish enough that the scuplt prim hates my av, so I fell in love with the dress even more. It was spared from the 'Mod your shape so you can wear this' folder. Now, normally, I absolutely hate the ankle boot. Hate it. It has issues, it cant figure out if its a boot, a pump, a cross breed? It makes me wince, I cant wear them in RL and own very very few in SL, but...le sigh...it just seemed to be the best shoe for the outfit, by Juicy. Look at it. Mocking me. Shut up shoe, I can delete you!

Fashion aside, I loved that I once again have my own locations to take pictures. Those shown today are at the, now complete, location that Sands and I are now calling home. The building is amazing, and I will do pictures of that build here soon, and its definitely a place I could see us entertaining in. What good is a home if you don't have people over? I had to laugh, when he logged in to see the final work that I had done, when he said 'Tell me you don't want one of those security orbs that I won't be able to get in with.' Seriously? What kind of crazy person has a home, or any other location, that their partner cant get into? Eep, never mind, I don't want to know, its too sad to even imagine. I'm not only am thrilled to share the space with him, I expect him to enjoy it just as much as I will! I can't wait to finish sharing the little corners and decor here, its all perfect. Just like the picture below. The table and chairs are fantastic, and from MudHoney. The food, flowers, and credenza in the back left are all from Plush Pod, while the tray back there was a Christmas gift from NotSoBad last year. A mixture from most of my favorite furniture designers and I love how it looks. Anyone coming over for dinner?

On to a bit more rambling, nothing at all to do with the furniture or fashion of SL, just my fingers letting lose on the keys. Things have been so good the last few days, still, and are a major part of why I am feeling a lot better and able to just maintain more than I had in the past. There is often RL stress, but it always works out, in the end. Sands and I are really enjoying the progression of our EQ2 guild, becoming bigger and better every week. I've been so proud of him, and how he has handled things and people lately, he really has impressed me more than I ever thought possible. Past that? He is also still supporting me through some of the toughest times in my life. Right now I can promise you he will be sitting at work, reading this, and smiling at his phone, his employees probably thinking he is still out of his mind for it, but thankful for the amazing mood he is in today. We've got it all going for us right now babe, and I'm still here fighting even harder because of you.

I think it was near or around a year ago that I first blogged anything by Sway's. Was just a little bear she had handed out as a group gift, and I knew I had to find some way to get the lil guy included. Today, however, I didn't go looking for bears. I've been seeing her new animations as she shares them on her blog and went to buy a couple. Instead, I got them all. Yes, all. I'm that all or nothing kinda woman, and its worth it. Just a couple of them, wearing a set by Whippet & Buck.

A year ago I didn't even need the folder that this jacket has been organized into. I had a lacking of jackets, sweaters and coats, but I love that Pink Outfitters just released this awesome little Military Jacket. We all know by now that I am prim adjustment deprived half the time, so I was even more in love with this piece because all it took was a bit of stretching, and it was perfect. Perfect I say! First entry with the new Belleza skin, and after having decided to go red headed instead of my traditional raven hair. I almost went blond, but this adds just that much more sass. Because, I needed more. I did! Just ask my...ok never mind.

SySy's will be releasing this amazing dress soon, and I was thrilled to be on when the sneak peek showed up and it begged to be blogged. This is exactly the look I've needed the last week with the warmer weather that showed up, a full week after snowing! Go figure, living up north is an adventure to be sure. Paired up with these amazing little sandals by Shiny Things and wild fun earrings by Ticky Tacky, I'm ready to go linger in my coming to life garden. Someone bring me some ice water?

So, a year has passed. A lot has changed in the year since I started seeing Sands, today being an exact year from our first 'date' and all. Most people didn't expect that we would come close to lasting long enough for me to make this kind of post, but I like surprising people. Including myself! I say that because not many can handle someone with my personality for this long, the poor guy. In the last year friends have come and gone, but the truest remain still and I am happier than I have been in a long time. They take me at my lowest, and embrace life with me at my highest. Even better, they linger and survive with me through everything in between. The above picture seemed to hold an aura of strength to me, it fits right now as I hold onto my strength to get through the coming months. I'm always happy to see spring designs pop up in my update window for designers and this outfit by Apple May is amazing! Though you are unable to see them, the bottom of this is a pair of cute full shorts, and the details on the corset of the top is fabulous!

Now this picture? This is the first picture I did of Sands and I, just under a year ago. While we don't play SL together much, he just about never logs in, we do still spend countless hours together playing EQ2 and such. SL will always hold a special place for me, when it comes to *us*, since it's where we met, courted, fell in love... SL is a powerful place, if you give in to the right powers that is. I still hope that everyone finds this kind of love, devotion, and pure friendship, that we have found and held onto...all year long. I could say I love him, and blather on about the last year but, he knows and, he was there. Today is just a bit of a celebration for us, but I swear that year just flew by.

This last week I slacked on so much online, from the blog to SL period, all because someone had the week off from work. Now that Sands is back at work, I should have more time to stay caught up again! Before his vacation, I had spent some time wandering the accessory fair and oh my goodness, my accessory folder is so much happier than it was before! I love all the pieces I found and included a couple here in this look. The dress is from Glam Affair and, while I don't often have occasion to dress up like this much, I had to have it. Oh, and look, a prim skirt that my hippy self could get into. Its gonna be a great weekend!

See, my av was good this winter, still fits in her bikinis! Now the hard part? Choosing one! The designer over at EmJay makes this even harder by having a huge selection of bikini's, one to fit almost every taste you could possibly have! Different patterns, color palates and each one fabulous! These are just two of my favorites, looking forward to hitting the beaches this summer, now if only the rain would go away.

After spending so much time knee deep in my inventory, I somehow managed to reduce it by at least 6k this last week. Oh thats good, right? Its awesome! Until you look and realize that still has me over 45k. I just cant seem to find the massive amount of items anywhere, where is the folder that has 10k worth of items in it? What addiction did I used to have that I am unable to find now? Is it my 'favorite designers' folder? Most everything is organized well enough, but that folder scares me. I don't know why I tossed everything together by designer for a long time, it didn't help when I was in the mood for a dress vs pants outfit. It doesn't help when I want a particular top, to go with the new pants I just found. It has to be organized, it does. So, I should do that someday. Yes, this week, its on my to do list for this week! Shall we take bets on if it gets done? Even if it doesn't, I have been focused enough, at least, to delete a few things when I do go out and shop. Did I say shop? Did I shop?! Why yes, yes I did. Shame on me...

I seriously just couldn't help myself! I'm tired of the winter items, tired of being cold and in those warm tones, I had to go find me some spring. G-Field is never one to disappoint, and I saw this posted on plurk (you don't plurk yet? Join here!) and I do believe I ditched Kerra at home to go and get this shirt! There are a few other beautiful floral shades, as well as a handful of solids (I grabbed the pink in the solid, of course). I had also spent a lot of time over at fri.day the last couple of days getting hairs, poses, and these jeans. Now, of course I put on the black ones just so you couldn't really see the detail, but trust me they are fantastic! Will be using them more on Style Card as well (another LOTD post by me recently, go look, mean it!), so be sure to peek over there once in a while. After those addictions, the last day or so, I ended up with almost 500 added to my inventory from hairs, jewelry, shoes, poses, seriously the list is huge but I had so much fun! First shopping spree in weeks!

Why is that, you ask? What has curbed my shopping addiction? Well, nothing, I am still addicted to it, I just haven't had the time to shop as much between inventory insanity and most of all, Sands. Since before my last entry we have been running a guild together in EQ2 and oh, my, what a time sucker that is! Between the guild and the latest expansion, a new level cap we had to reach (the 2nd night, oh yea) and helping others do their leveling, I find myself hardly getting everything done online that I want to! Luckily we have been making sure to get time together and away from the grind and work of EQ2, but I have been enjoying so much of it with him. There is a lot of change in our future, things to look forward to, choices to be made, but everything remains absolutely amazing. Not much else to update on, visit not only the links below, but the ones above and check out some of the things that have been keeping me busy. Its been a great winter, now, on to spring! Someone tell the snow....

So this is what happens when no one is on, and I am left alone to wander around shopping. I end up filling in some of the inventory I just cleaned out but oh my goodness sakes alive, it was worth it! I got a ton of jewelry from U&R Dogs and I love every piece, you will be seeing a lot of it coming up. In favor of my flats addiction, I picked up a couple colors of these from Ingenue as well as some of her other fabulous shoes. The outfit, wearing My Boyfriends Jeans from Milk Motion and I have to say, I think they are one of my favorite pairs of jeans period! Top from Glam Affair, there is more to come from them as well. This is just the tip of the iceberg, heaven help SC!!

It's days like today that make me painfully aware that spring is nowhere in sight! I did, however, do a little bit of shopping and found this awesome sweater by my favorite boot maker (go figure) Kitties Lair. The boots are a 50L friday item by Kookie while the rest was dug up out of my inventory. Its comfy, its warm, and exactly what I would wear when stomping out through the snow. No more storms though, deal?
