As a great many people know, this time last week I was in a completely different place than I am today. It seems all of the plurking world has gone through a few ups and downs this week too, and I think its going to be refreshing for everyone in the end, when it all settles down, which, I hope is soon. Sometimes it takes a really good temper tantrum, a fit of emotions released in rash movements and 'mistakes' or errors of judgment, to find yourself on the better end of life again. As I said, last week I was in a different place and one night deleted my entire timeline. Aw, shame, thousands of replies and hundreds of plurks, just gone. More might have ended up deleted in this mood of madness, but thanks to Kerra I signed off and went to bed. I left my plurk gone for a couple of days before being talked into remaking my account and joining the plurkworld again. Do I regret deleting my old timeline? Not -one- single bit! Going through that friend list and deleting people would have taken forever, and there are so many accounts out there that are inactive that having a list with 300, 400+ people is easy, but a ridiculous thing to keep up with even with half of them inactive, most likely. Once my timeline was created and my plurk layout fixed I started the process of finding people to re-add and found myself in a mad whirl of activities! Dozens upon dozens of Welcome Backs, What did you DO!, and Don't ever do that again plurks and IMs in world made me laugh and realize that I had grown attached to some of the crazy people on plurk. Granted, not everyone accepted my add again (its ok, I don't mind, helps me weed out certain people anyway and that is awesome!) but in their place I have gotten over 100 new friends that I never had before! No, not everyone is always active, but my timeline seems to have a different feel to it than from before the deletion. So no, not a single regret, its the best thing that has happened to my plurk actually!

I really wanted to find some business environment, or a city area, or...something. We ended up over at Princeton University (which I actually enjoyed wandering around) and snapped a couple of pictures. I could have done better, I admit it, but cold+flu+pictures in sl=well, you can see the results. I also didn't modify them as much as I normally do because I really wanted the details of the outfit to stand out on their own and my typical tweaking makes things like this too dark. I slipped on a pair of Maitreya shoes, purchased a clutch bag on xstreet from Ariana's Trinkets, left my hair as it was and even slipped on some old bangles I've had in my inventory for so long the store that sold them is gone.

We kicked back and chatted for a while, I put up with...whatever that is she is wearing, until she finally changed. She looked much better later but I forgot to take another picture! Then she jumps up, proclaims she is going to New York and poofs. Because she adores me and lets me have full rights, I mapped her funky butt! We did not end up in New York, but ran (literally) around some sim that had women on leashes or in a cage in random corners of the builds. Thats the last time I let her lead the way...tomorrow its my turn by golly!

On the RL front, I am still sick, this is getting old really fast and I am tired of being sick but I do at least feel partially human today. Why am I feeling human? I have good reason to! My youngest turns 1 today. Ok, it kind of makes me cry, this year went by really fast but wow, she has grown so much and is so amazing. Yes, I am biased, but seriously I adore my kids and the fact that this is our last 'first birthday' is just crazy. When did time go by? I mean really, they were all just 1 just...yesterday? I will share pictures of the messy face tomorrow, I hope. I'm looking forward to making her treats with her siblings here as soon as they get home...so off to prepare the kitchen. You know...for the insanity. Halp!

A couple of days ago, Mud Honey's latest release included these fantastic new 'Photobles.' These are a fantastic idea for bloggers so I had to sneak a peek and came home with the Glam Girl Photoble. (I am pretty sure these have been blogged already, but some things definitely need to be blogged more than once.) Having an entire scene easily rez/derezzable is a huge help when I want to get a different look for my pictures without wandering around SL too much. Its a lot faster, and keeps you all from having to see my garden areas over and over. Trust me, perks all around. The Photoble comes with a few different options, but I left it as it stands when you rez it. There are currently two of these out at the shop, stop by and pick one up. They are fantastic and I am really looking forward to the next ones that come out!

The Photobles all include poses for you to use, or you can do as I did and just use what you have on hand. I used a pose from Diesel Works, one from Persona and finally one from Striking Pose as well, for these shots. I dug deep into my inventory and found this cute pink dress from Skin Flicks, but it happens to be sleeveless. I have no idea why, but I tend to not feel as comfortable with my shoulders uncovered. Which is weird because, this is SL for pity sake! To solve the issue I pulled out the black sequined cover up from eLDee. The hair is one of the new ones from Truth, fluffy and really adorable, while the shoes are an older pair from Maitreya.

The weekend is coming to an end pretty quickly here, I didn't get nearly as much as I had wanted done and look, even the LOTD posts without a lot of rambling didnt get done. Shame. Nothing much else going on, I hope everyone has a great weekend and a fantastic week!

Rainy Monday mornings in which I am missing Sands like a crazy person leads to only one thing. Another shopping trip. Now, look, this isn't my fault. This is completely his fault for leaving me home alone today, I swear. It is also his fault because he is going to be gone for a few days starting on Wednesday and I am all mopey and down because, seriously, I am going to miss him. I know, what a sap, what a dork, what a...hopelessly in love nitwit I am! Stop judging me dang it, I've grown just a wee bit fond of the man and for some insane reason he puts up with me. He puts up with the shopping, the pictures, the hours of sitting on skype every single minute we are online together (hey, I'm not forcing him, I swear) and even my redecorating and moving kicks on SL. Which reminds me, I do believe we did a rather uh, well, nude picture the last time he logged in. I have since moved our entire home (again) and there is going to be some poor surprised soul on our old land when he logs in next. I shouldn't laugh....but I will. If I am being completely honest, I am looking forward to it. I'm in such trouble for that one, but it will be worth it!

Back to the shopping and blaming Sands for everything, I got side tracked there a moment. I got to wake him up and get a few minutes of his time this morning before he got ready for work, trust me it helps. Its silly but just a small dose of his voice improves my mood, though it reminded me just how much the end of this week is going to stink! Luckily by then I will have more lindens to help support me through such trying times. *places the back of her hand dramatically against her forehead* Woe! I jest, of course, but will have much more time to blog, rambling on and on in plurk and over all pester people. Maybe it won't be such a horrid weekend after all! Save for that going nuts without him part. Oh its pitiful, just wait though, next week will be a bunch of 'Yay he is home' posts. I warned you, you may run now, I understand!

As I stood in our home this morning plotting a few things I was also flipping through group notices as they came in and I saw this top from Malt. I do believe I TP'd out before even thinking twice about it. This beautiful, frilly, fluffy blouse comes in a variety of lovely colors and when I can I will be sneaking back for another later this week. I couldn't resist it and really didn't attempt to, I just walked right in and snagged it. So, I have a new resolve. You ready for this? Instead of no shopping, how about shopping only for a piece or two and always making sure to include something old that I already have? Totally new concept!! (Are we noting my sarcasm yet, or the I should have been doing this all along instead of getting something new every darn time tone? No? Blog fail!)

This time I paired the blouse with a great pair of pants from Persona, Shiny Things shoes (I need to shop for more shoes, I have a shoe thang in SL but not RL, go figure) and one of my new favorite hairs from fri.day. I thought it might not be bad to show off the new furniture I got last week by Belle...or is that Belle Belle, I'm not in game to peek but the slurl in the credits works. If you ever wonder if the ads on some blogs work, yes they do! That is how I found them and I adore this furniture. If I had more prims available I would have the entire set in my skybox. When I sit and really think about it, and I do often, I am actually really surprised at how well things are going, and for how long they have been going this well. Life always has ups and downs, but lately? Its so many ups that I absolutely refuse to believe there is a down up ahead. RL is squeeking by, and working out really well. SL is still my escape, and my relationship with Sands just keeps getting stronger. In a world where SLationships (or is that SLelationships, or SLtionships or...look, you get the idea) don't often last for very long, I am literally amazed that we are fast approaching 6....months. Seriously, how many people thought it wouldn't last this long? Imagine your surprise when we make it a year? I wonder how many shopping trips I will be able to blame him for in the next 6 months.... its a good thing he loves me!
