 First I want to take a moment to mention a sale going on right now over at [42]. The designer of [42] skins is going to be taking some time away from new releases and as such is going to close her store over on Sn@tch for a while so she can take care of more pressing RL matters. You can read more about the sale and why the store is closing over on the [42] Blog!  I did a little bit of wandering in a completely different release by Evie's Closet yesterday, but couldn't find a place to take a picture that made me happy enough. I chanced upon this sim and felt this dress by Evie was far better suited and couldn't help but sit and take a few pictures to play with. This is the kind of place I would love to vacation or even live, far from the city and away from any chaos or even street lights. Looks like a place you could lay on the hillside and watch the clouds roll by, or even count the stars on a clear night. I've been working with Kerra and now Fae on the Style Card blog and that has left this one a little quiet while it all gets settled. This morning I need to get in and add Fae's flickr and FB badges so that the sidebar is up to date. Things have just been too busy to get everything done! Weeks before last, Sands had a full two week vacation and we spent every bit of it together just spending quality time together when we could and working in EQ2. Now that things are a bit more caught up there I am catching up everywhere else, but its so worth it to fall behind. We laughed each night as our skype call times got longer and longer, I think the longest pushed 16 or 17 hours. Since we are working on running our own guild and raiding force again, he has been insanely busy. The man logs in and ends up in tell hell before the game even loads. It can be a bit stressful, working with so many people and wanting something to be a success, but he is an amazing leader and we are growing by leaps and bounds already! Even after 10 months now the man can still surprise me. Its been a good year so far, I'm happier than I have been in a very long time and even better? Karma is out there kicking butt while showing us she isn't unhappy with us in the least. Life is good, amazingly good, and I hope it is for everyone else as well! There is a new expansion for EQ2 coming out soon so I may be a wee bit slow on the updates again, but its worth it.  I don't often have enough time in Second Life lately to go out all that much, but I do hear there are still clubs and dancing and even live performers! The dress released by SySy's tonight was inspired by a live performer that the designer is sponsoring this week. Lollo String, as well as his background dancers The Lollette's, have been entertaining the masses within SL since 2008 and have a large variety of music they are able to dazzle you with. SySy thought of them as she made this amazing dress, calling it 'Fluffy, feathery and sexy!' The dress comes in three colors, the blue shown as well as black and red. I figured the feed is always full of black, and tis the season for red, so blue it is!  I slipped on a new pair of fabulous shoes by Kilnins and my all time favorite updo by W&Y for this fancy night on the town look. SySy's dress makes me feel like twisting my hips and dancing the night away, seriously, just to see how the layers will swirl around me. I stepped out of my norm for this and put on a super sexy skin by Exodi and donned a beautiful Balderdash jewelry set. If you haven't taken the time to visit any of the mentioned stores, you need to this holiday season. There are so many parties to attend, events to be had and pictures to take and these designers will make you look amazing!  While it still takes me hours to complete a blog post, between chasing around kids and dealing with work etc, I love this part of my online time. Matter of fact, there really isn't anything about my time online that isn't make me extremely happy lately! The choices I thought I had to make about SL with the last post were undone, and it leaves me with the sim to work on and with for another few weeks at least. It was so hard to imaging all the work that had gone into the sim would have been gone next week, but a very dear friend swooped in to save us. I am so very thankful to him for doing so, and hope he enjoys his new home with us and we can make him proud. Back off to do a little bit of work while I want for Sands to get home tonight. It should prove to be yet another amazing night, I'm wondering when my luck will run out on those but so far so good! I hope you are all staying warm and dry tonight, its snowing again here and freezing. Cannot wait to snuggle up and stay warm...someone make the work day be over please!  Needed a bit of a pool side distraction this evening as I wait for the day to end and Sands to come home. While almost all of our 'game' time together is spent in EQ2, we both still hold forever a fondness for the world we met in, here in Second Life. Many people have a few preconceived notions about him, myself, even our relationship and instead of fighting against it tooth and nail, I figure its time to just let people judge as they wish and get back on track to just being me. No amount of discussion is going to change peoples minds if they have already taken the word of someone else about how a person is, so isn't it just a waste of energy to focus on it? I saw an amazing quote posted today that has helped me to refocus on the people and things that matter most.  "The more anger towards the past you carry in your heart, the less capable you are of loving in the present." Barbara De Angelis (Plurked by Berry) There is no need to holding onto a past that makes you unhappy, no purpose in focusing on things that may have brought you pain. So today's shots are taken with the setting of a painful past falling behind me without even turning back for a final view. Holding onto an amazing future and a life filled with only love, passion and joy. Looking forward to and wishing everyone a fabulous weekend.
