I've dressed my SL in purple today in support of those fighting cancer. Ironically I remember talking to my mother in law, years ago, about her battle with cancer and her recovery and I asked how she was able to get through it without having moments of panic. I was surprised by her strength and her determination not to let it get the better of her. Luckily she had a fabulous amount of support with her friends and family, and has been cancer free for some years. Even though I am unable to financially support RFL as much as I would like, this is a simple way we can all show support for the amazingly strong people that are battling with cancer every day.
