Grand Illusion...

Just a quicky today, weekends are always extremely busy now that its summer. Then again, weekdays are busier now that it is summer too! The results are more simple LOTD type posts, such as this one. Mixed pieces from Apple May (Top & Bangles from Willow, Jeans as a separate) and some of the amazing newer shoes from Shiny Things and this fast became one of my favorite outfits. I think I spent two days wandering in it, and thats unheard of from someone with a massive shopping addiction and inventory!

Just a quick note included here about the Grand Opening of Cursed scheduled for Saturday, 6-27-09 at 6pm SLT. I will be offering a free photo with every set of jewelry purchased of you in the set you chose! Looking forward to a lot of pictures, and a lot of people finding some amazing jewelry. Also, [42] just put out a new release so look forward to that coming as tomorrows LOTD! I hope everyone is having a fabulous SL/RL weekend and see you tonight!

Over a year ago I had the immense pleasure to meet the designers of Cursed Jewelry and am extremely excited to see they have returned not only to Second Life, but to designing their beautiful pieces as well. I have been lucky enough to work with the designers and have put together just a few of their pieces (with them modeling too!) for you to see in anticipation of their grand opening this weekend!

I normally am pretty lacking when it comes to accessories and jewelry, I have no idea why that is but I fully admit it. Cursed has inspired me to pay just that much more attention to the details in my outfits, and I will be using their beautiful pieces often in the future. Sets include looks for casual, every day use to more formal pieces that are a perfect addition to a night out on the SLtown! This just happens to be, my all time, absolute favorite.

Cursed Jewelry is delicate, intricate, and extremely detailed for designers that had the following to say on their work: "We do not use any sole textures or tgas in our jewelry. Everything you see has been meticulously made by hand and a very zoomed-in camera with nano prims and sculpties." Each and every piece has a resizing script, and gold/silver options. Everything they sell is Trans/NoCopy/NoMod so that you can easily buy gifts for your friends and loved ones, and trust me, you will!!

Happy Valentines Day! Whether you are spending it with one special someone, or a group of friends, I hope the day brings you nothing but love! My first SL love today was finishing up a handful of hunts. Now comes the fun of digging through folders and boxes and organizing the insanity that has become my inventory. A huge thank you goes out to all of the designers and content creators that have participated in these events and handed out free items to us hunters. I am sure many of us will be visiting again soon to make purchases, I know I will!

This week, after a decent break, the designer of [42] is back and creating up a storm! A fabulous pack of skins and tats were dropped on me last night that I rushed right in to check out and take some pictures with. As always, the skins come with hair or shaved options, a variety of make ups and a shape. I don't know how she does it, but these skins are also so reasonably priced you simply shouldn't pass them up. Ever! Included at the store with this release (today!) are a set of VDay tats for free. No matter if you are Taken, Available or not in the mood to even discuss it (see image) its a fabulous set of tats to have on hand. These are free for a short time and then are included on the wall of past freebies for 42L

Take a moment or two and stop by Apple May to get this lingerie set free for Valentines Day. Super cute and sexy, I think I am in love with this holiday simply because I can shop around and wear a ton of pink without being picked on...too much! This set can be found by the new items at Apple May.
